Striker Richarlison will be absent from Tottenham in the team’s next match, against Nottingham Forest. Coach Ange Postecoglou said, this Friday, that the Brazilian felt slight pain in his knee in the last duel, against West Ham, and that he will be rested.
“Richarlison has had a problem with his knee. We’re giving him this weekend off so he can fully recover and be ready for Newcastle next week,” he said.
At the beginning of March, Ange had revealed that Richarlison would be absent from the team for around three weeks due to a knee injury. Despite this, the player was called up to the Brazilian team and did not play a single minute with the Canarinho shirt.
Recovered, Richarlison returned to play for Tottenham in the game against West Ham, last Tuesday. The athlete entered the field in the 36th minute of the second half, however, the short time on the field was enough for him to feel pain in his knee again.
