Róger Guedes scored both goals in Al-Rayyan’s 2-0 victory over Al Duhail, this Sunday, in the 19th round of the Qatari Championship. With this, the striker became the competition’s top scorer in 2024.
In just six games this year, Róger Guedes has already scored nine goals in the national tournament. Furthermore, according to the Sofascorethe Brazilian only needs 60 minutes to find the net, finished 22 times (12 on target), converted 100% of big chances (5/5), made seven decisive passes and also suffered 13 fouls.

Since leaving Corinthians in August 2023, the 27-year-old has played 18 games, scored 17 goals and provided four assists. Róger Guedes occupies third place in the ranking of top scorers in the Qatari Championship.
With only four rounds remaining in the Stars League, Al-Rayyan is in fourth place, with 35 points, two behind third place.
The club returns to the field next Sunday, at 3:30 pm (Brasília time), against Mu’aidar.
Róger Guedes played for Corinthians between 2021 and 2023. During this period, he scored 43 goals in 126 matches and became popular with the fans. He helped the São Paulo club in their Copa do Brasil runner-up campaign in 2022 and became the top scorer at Neo Química Arena, with 31 goals saved.
