Coach Bakhturina urged to follow the principle of gradualness when losing weight by summer
Senior trainer of the international network of ballet and stretching studios LEVITA, Akulina Bakhturina, in a conversation with Lenta.ru, revealed five steps for losing weight by summer in two months.
Firstly, the specialist called for observing the principle of gradualism: do not suddenly start switching to proper nutrition one day, train for five hours and drink ten liters of water. “Over the course of a week, gradually introduce new habits and gradually get into your training schedule. In the second week, increase the load,” Bakhturina noted.
Secondly, the fitness trainer suggested approaching the issue comprehensively. She recommended not only watching your workouts and nutrition, but also increasing activity in general by adding walking or cycling.
Another important step is adherence to the regime. “The body should not experience stress on the way to a difficult goal, so it is important to maintain a clear sleep and rest schedule, take into account the physiological hours for getting up and falling asleep,” the expert shared.
Bakhturina also advised not to get hung up on the same exercises and nutrition. “The likelihood that you will abandon your goal halfway due to lack of variety is very high. Therefore, introduce different workouts and activities – go for walks on weekends, go out into the countryside, try hiking,” she explained.
In addition, the trainer emphasized the importance of proper motivation. She suggested preparing for the summer with friends, defining a common goal. Another good way to motivate yourself to start and not quit is to publicly declare your intention to change.
Previously, Bakhturina listed exercises to awaken the body for spring. The trainer advised me to do glute bridges and side plank crunches.
