Coach Carlo Ancelotti praised the attitude of Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham on the midfielder’s return to the Spanish Championship after two games of suspension. The Englishman had been sent off against Valencia, at the beginning of March, due to harsh complaints against the refereeing.
“I don’t know what he thinks (of LaLiga referees), but he learned very well what he has to do: keep quiet,” said the commander this Sunday, after the merengue club’s 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao, in Santiago Bernabéu.

Bellingham is the player with the most goal contributions for Real Madrid this season. In 32 games played, he scored 20 goals and distributed 10 assists.
Real Madrid only returns to the field on April 9, against Manchester City, at home, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. The English club is in the opposite situation to the Spanish team and will have two more matches before the clash.
“They have a more complicated schedule, it’s modern football and it’s obvious that we have a small advantage, but it won’t affect the game. The only option for us to win is for everyone to play their best. We know them very well, we also saw their game ( 0-0 against Arsenal) and we will have to have more intensity than today, but we have time”, said Ancelotti.
