The game between Manchester City and Arsenal

Despite playing away from home, Arsenal were the ones who tried first with more danger. After just six minutes, Gabriel Jesus hit Ben White’s cross on his chest and hit low, but the ball went over the baseline, close to Ortega’s right post.

Manchester City’s response came nine minutes later. Aké deflected a corner inside the small area, but David Raya made the reflex save.

The one who kept trying for the Gunners was Gabriel Jesus. The ex-Palmeiras player received a tackle from Kiwior at the edge of the area and finished with his left foot, sending the ball wide.

On the way back from the break, Kovavic drew gasps from the fans present with a shot placed from the edge of the area, in the first minute, which went close to Raya’s post. Five minutes later, Saka received a deep pass from Odegaard and crossed low to Gabriel Jesus, who threw himself at the ball but didn’t reach it.

In the final stretch of the game, City were once again scared with a chance generated after a corner kick deflected by Gvardiol and wasted by Haaland. Quite busy, but with few clear chances to score, the match ended in a goalless draw.
