The ISU obliged Valieva to indicate the daily hour of availability for doping control
Disqualified Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva was required to provide special information to the International Skating Union (ISU) for doping control. TASS learned about this.
Valieva is included by ISU in the registered pool (RTP). In this regard, she must indicate one hour each day when she will be available to inspectors at a particular location. Valieva is the only Russian figure skater to whom this rule applies.
If the athlete cannot be found at the designated place at this time, this will be considered a violation of the rules. Three missed tests in a year may result in disqualification.

Eight more Russians – Sofya Akatieva, Adelia Petrosyan, Pyotr Gumennik, Evgeniy Semenenko, Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov, Alexandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky – are included in the extended testing pool (TP). They, like Valieva, must indicate in the ADAMS system contact information, places of permanent and current residence, competition calendar and training schedule, but are exempt from the obligation to be in a place known to doping officers every day at a certain hourly period of time.
In January 2024, Valieva was disqualified for four years for violating anti-doping rules. Traces of the banned drug trimetazidine were found in the skater’s sample from December 2021. As a result, Valieva was stripped of her gold for winning the team tournament at the 2022 Olympics, as well as her Russian and European champion titles.
