With a goal in stoppage time, Lazio beats Juventus in the Italian Championship

This Saturday afternoon, Lazio and Juventus faced each other at the Stadio Olimpico, in a game valid for the 30th round of the Italian Championship. With a goal from Marusic, the home team won 1-0.

With the victory, the Rome team reaches 46 points and occupies seventh place in the table. The Turin team, in turn, continues with 59 points, in third place.

The teams will face each other again next Tuesday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Allianz Stadium, but for the first leg of the Italian Cup semi-final. The return is scheduled for April 23, at 4 pm, at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio’s winning goal was scored in second-half stoppage time, in the 48th minute. Guendouzi, on the left, threatened to attack the marker and chose to cross into the area. Afterwards, Marusic rose higher than everyone else and tested hard into the net, without giving goalkeeper Szczesny a chance to save.
