CSKA Moscow tied with Sochi in the match of the 21st round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting took place at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi and ended with a score of 2:2. In the 15th minute, Sochi defender Dmitry Chistyakov scored an own goal. In the first minute added to the first half, Army striker Anton Zabolotny increased the team’s lead.
In the second half, in the 50th minute, forward Saul Guarirapa reduced Sochi’s gap. In the 73rd minute, midfielder Martin Kramaric equalized the score, and CSKA missed out on victory.
Thus, after 21 matches, CSKA is in fourth place in the RPL standings, gaining 33 points. Sochi is an outsider and occupies the last 16th place with 14 points. The leader is Zenit St. Petersburg, which has 41 points.
In the next match, CSKA will host Fakel Voronezh on April 7. Sochi will play away against Rostov the day before.
