Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva spoke about her earnings in an interview with the YouTube channel “Unsweetened Business”.
Medvedeva shared that she receives income in parallel from figure skating and advertising. “And let’s not forget that YouTube has this wonderful thing called ad integration. This is a definite way of earning money for me,” she added.
Medvedeva is a two-time world and European champion. At the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the athlete won two silver medals. In December 2021, she announced her retirement. In 2023, the figure skater launched her own YouTube show, “No Comments.”
Earlier, three-time Olympic figure skating champion Irina Rodnina revealed the size of her pension. She stated that she continues to work, so she receives less than 30 thousand rubles in pension.
