Rostov defeated Dynamo in the match of the 22nd round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting took place in Moscow and ended with a score of 4:1 in favor of the guests. Kirill Shchetinin, Danil Glebov and Mohammad Mohebi, who scored a double, helped Valery Karpin’s team win. The hosts’ only goal was scored by Bitello.
Thanks to the victory, Rostov scored 30 points and moved up to sixth place in the national championship standings. Dynamo is third with 38 points.
Before the match, the players took to the field wearing black T-shirts with white cranes on them, in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall on March 22. Viktor Gusev and Artem Donskov struck the ball symbolically. The commentator was at the Picnic concert and was able to escape thanks to the help of employee Sofia Meyer, who was also invited to the match. 14-year-old Donskov, who worked as a cloakroom attendant, helped lead people out of Crocus.
