Biathlete Victoria Slivko won the sprint at the Russian Championships in Tyumen. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The race took place on Monday, March 25th. Slivko, representing the Tyumen region, covered the distance in 22 minutes and 55.5 seconds. Kristina Reztsova (KhMAO – Yugra) was in second position; she lost 16.1 seconds to the winner. The top three were closed by Irina Kazakevich (Sverdlovsk region) with a backlog of 20.8 seconds. The winner made no mistakes, the winners each made one inaccurate shot.
Earlier, the winner of the men’s sprint at the Russian Championship became known. It was Karim Khalili.
Russians and Belarusians do not participate in international competitions by decision of the International Biathlon Union (IBU). The order came into force in March 2022 and will remain in effect until further notice.
