Most radio and television receivers are subject to registration. A subscription fee is charged for their use. You have to pay PLN 8.70 a month to use the radio, and PLN 27.30 to use a TV set or a TV set and a radio receiver. How to pay for the TV license fee? You have three options

The subscription payment deadline is the 25th day of each month. If Poczta Polska does not record the payment in your account by then, it may not only collect the fee, but also impose a penalty on you for the delay. If you do not pay on time, you will receive a notice to settle the arrears. You have 7 days to do so. Then the case goes to the tax office, which will collect the funds from your account. It can collect money from your salary, pension or tax overpayment. The penalty for failure to pay the subscription fee is 30 times the subscription fee. So it could be PLN 261 or PLN 819. It’s better not to ignore it, because in the period from January to November 2023, it collected PLN 20.03 million from people who did not pay the subscription fee.
