RPL games will begin with a minute of silence in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack at Crocus
The matches of the 22nd round of the Russian Premier League will begin with a minute of silence in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow. This was reported on the league website.
The RPL also noted that preparations for the games are taking into account increased security measures. “Decisions on possible attendance restrictions are made by regional executive authorities,” the league clarified.
The 22nd round of the RPL starts on Friday, March 29, with a match in Moscow between Dynamo and Rostov. The tour ends on Sunday, March 31st.
The terrorist attack at Crocus occurred on the evening of March 22. Four armed men burst into the building before a concert of the Picnic group and began shooting people. They fired in the hall and the concert hall itself, and then set it on fire and fled in a car. All the perpetrators of the terrorist attack were detained in the Bryansk region.
