Farrari driver Carlos Sainz Jr won the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix
Spanish Farrari driver Carlos Sainz Jr. won the Australian Grand Prix, which is the third Formula 1 round of the 2024 season. The results are available on the organizers’ website.
The competition took place in Melbourne at the Albert Park track. Sainz’s Monegasque teammate Charles Leclerc was in second place, 2.366 seconds behind. Third place went to Briton Lando Norris from Maclaren, whose backlog was 5.904 seconds.
On February 1, it became known that British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton was moving from Mercedes to Ferrari. The athlete will join the new team in 2025 and will earn 50 million euros per year.
