St. Petersburg Zenit lost to the Serbian Red Star in a friendly match in Belgrade. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the hosts. The only goal was scored by Nikola Knezevic in the 82nd minute.
Before the start of the match, Red Star fans held a rally to support the Russians. They held a performance about Russian-Serbian friendship and also hung a banner “Moscow. 22.03. We mourn.”
