The ACT approves the calendar and budget for the 2024 season, along with changes to the regulations for 2025

The Association of Trainera Clubs (ACT) has met at the Arrantzaleen Museoa in Bermeo to celebrate his third Ordinary Assembly of 2024. In it They have approved the calendar and budget for this season.
The Eusko Label Liga and the Euskotren Liga will begin the last weekend of June in Galician watersguaranteeing one more season the 4 appointments in Galician territory.
This time, there will be a single appointment in A Coruñaon June 29. The second day of that weekend will be held in Bueu. Notably In both Pasaia and Ribeira, two courses are recovered in a format of 6 lengths and 5 lengths in the men’s regatta and 3 pitches and 2 ciabogas in the case of the women’s regatta. Cantabria will also maintain its presence and will have a day of the two ACT competitions: the CaixaBank Flag, to be held in Castro Urdiales.
Another new feature of the 2024 calendar is presented in the Euskotren Liga that will have two more days. Disputing like this 16 scoring regattas plus 2 days of the Play Off for the first time in the history of the women’s competition. Zarautz will once again put an end to the Euskotren Liga and The Play Off will be held on the third weekend of September in Bermeo and Portugalete.
Changes in competition regulations
Until now and During the 2024 season, lineups had to meet at least one of these three conditions: 7 own rowers of which 3 have to be homegrown; 6 own rowers of which 4 have to be homegrown; either 5 own rowers having to be the 5 youth players.
After the approval of the proposed modification presented on said rule relating to youth players, Starting in 2025, lineups must meet one of the following requirements: 7 own rowers of which 4 must be homegrown or 6 own rowers of which 5 must be homegrown. AND In 2026 the quotas will grow to 5 youth players if 7 of our own rowers line up and 6 youth players if the own rowers who line up are 6.
