Football players and the coaching staff of the Russian national team donated blood for the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. RIA Novosti reports this.
The athletes did this at the blood center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency.
On March 23, the bureau of the executive committee of the Russian Football Union decided to postpone all competitions held under the auspices of the organization to reserve dates for the current round of matches due to the terrorist attack in the Moscow region. The list includes matches of the Women’s Super League, First League, Second League, Futsal Super League, as well as regional competitions. It was noted that new dates and times for matches will be announced additionally.
Crocus City Hall was attacked on the evening of March 22. Terrorists armed with machine guns entered the building and opened targeted fire on those who were inside. According to the latest data, the number of victims of the terrorist attack has increased to 133 people.
