“The Russian Football Union deeply mourns and expresses condolences to the families of those killed and injured as a result of the tragedy in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow,” the statement said. The Russian Premier League (RPL) also expressed condolences.
Earlier it became known that sports commentator Viktor Gusev and his wife were present at the concert of the Picnic group at Crocus. They managed to escape.
Crocus City Hall was attacked on Friday evening, March 22. At least five terrorists armed with machine guns entered the building and opened targeted fire on those inside. According to preliminary data from the FSB, 40 people became victims of the terrorist attack, and more than a hundred were injured.
