He IDK Euskotren has remained removed of the Queen’s Cup of the 2023-24 season, this Thursday, at lose, 63-55, in the quarterfinal tiebefore him Valencia Basket, at the Carolina Marín Sports Palace in Huelva. Azu Muguruza’s men have shown their face in the tie, against a high-level rival, but they have not been able to overcome them, and, in this way, they are left out of the competition, which began this Thursday.
IDK Euskotren maintained equality on the scoreboard until the second quarter, given that the first ten minutes ended with 16-15 for Valencia Basket. At half-time, the Valencian team, in which its power forward Raquel Carrera suffered an injury, led by ten points, 36-26, and in the second half the IDK Euskotren rival managed to manage that advantage, which was twelve at the end of the third quarter (50-38).
The breadth of the Valencia Basket squad has been one of the keys to the match, in which IDK Euskotren has never given up and which ended with 63-55 for the Valencian squad. In the semifinals, which will be played this Saturday, Valencia Basket will play for a place in the final against Movistar Estudiantes, who eliminated Spar Girona (72-49).
