After passing through Elizondo and Doneztebe, already in Hegoalde, in Navarra, the climb to Usategieta begins; 11.2 kilometers later is when this long pass ends, whose average slope is 3.2%. The race passes through there at kilometer 59.8.

Almost immediately, Itzulia reaches Leitza, and Uitzi ascends; are 4.7 kilometers, at 6.9%, before descending to Lekunberri and, with almost no time to recover, face the climb to Zuarrarrate (6.8 kilometers, with an average slope of 3.6%).

Etxarri Aranatz will take to the street to welcome the Itzulia cyclists, then, just before, at kilometer 123, Alsasua put into play the first special sprint of the third stage. Otzaurte and Zegama They will attend the passage of the runners, who will then climb Olaberria; It is a short climb, 1.6 kilometers, but tough, since it has an average slope of 7.5%. The stage will be, at that point, at kilometer 154.2.

Lizarrusti, whose banner is 18 kilometers from the Alsasua finish line, can be decisive. It is a 6.4 kilometer climb, at 4.7%, and is crowned just a few kilometers before Etxarri Aranatz’s special sprint, which will practically launch the final fight for stage victory.

The final stretch is flat, fast. Alsasua will host the third podium of the Itzulia in 2024, and will clarify the general classification, with three stages still to be completed until the end in Eibar.
