Ma³ysz took the floor of Dole¿al. “The stupidest thing”. He knows where the problem is

Polish jumpers this season are doing poorly. , the highest-ranked in the World Cup takes eleventh place (216 points). Piotr Żyła is only 28th (81 points), and Dawid Kubacki is 39th (20 points).

Małysz: I would not be making a scandal

Some experts believe that the coach is responsible for the poor performance and should be fired.

– I heard journalists want to fire Michal. I wouldn’t make a scandal that something was down to prepare for the season. We trust the coach and hope that he will get the guys out of what they are in. It would be most foolish to fire a coach because something is currently not going. You always have to give a chance. We trust the trainer will deal with this situation. We will not make any sudden movements. We would have to react if there was a conflict in the squad. However, I have not heard about any incompatibilities between the players and the coach – says Adam Ma³ysz

The four-time Olympic medal winner also revealed that the wrong suits could be one of the reasons.

– You have to trust the coaches. Believing they have an idea to solve the situation. On the other hand, we can see that there has been a problem with the suits. Michal himself said that they are working on it now. When the new hardware controller came in, he started to invent some things. Even those that are not in the regulations. This disrupted work for the Norwegians, and at one time for the Slovenes. But they’ve already come out of it. It hit us quite hard too, he added.

He also emphasized that another reason is the poor technique of Polish jumpers. – Kamil and Paweł are looking good. Piotrek is up to something all the time, but it is normal. The others, however, lost their technique. Feeling too, which is very important. Dawid says all the time that everything is going in the right direction, but the results and meters are not there – admitted Adam Ma³ysz.

Now the Poles will start in, which will be held in Germany and Austria. On December 28, all athletes will give their first training and qualifying jumps in Oberstdorf. The next three will be selected after the Polish winter championships in Zakopane (23 December).
