Tkachenko said that Ivich was fired from Krasnodar due to a conflict with Galitsky
Football agent German Tkachenko named the reason for the dismissal of Serbian Vladimir Ivic from the post of head coach of Krasnodar. His words are quoted by “Championship”.
According to him, the specialist had a protracted conflict with the owner of the townspeople, Sergei Galitsky. “Working in such an atmosphere when there are disagreements on many issues: playing style, recruitment, principles of communication within the club is wrong,” the agent added.
According to Tkachenko, Ivich was unable to convince the management that at the end of the season, Krasnodar would finish in the top 3 of the Russian Premier League (RPL). “Added to this was accumulated irritation. This forced Galitsky to make a difficult decision,” he said.
Ivic, who was fired on March 13, has worked with Krasnodar since January 2023. His contract ran until the end of 2024. Under the leadership of the Serb, the club went into the winter break in the current Russian championship in first place.
