W are aware that this season will probably be the last one to be performed. The 41-year-old goalkeeper is seriously considering retiring and moving permanently to the United States. Jakub Trojanowski – who has just signed a contract with Legia, as reported by the service – is unlikely to replace Boruc in the goal. Or at least not right away, but they still want to invest in young goalkeepers at Łazienkowska Street.
And they want it because in many cases it is pure profit. In recent years, Legia has not earned more from players from any other position than from goalkeepers. The greatest merit in this. A well-deserved coach for 20 years of work in the club, he raised and developed many talented goalkeepers, and he himself achieved the status of a legend.

He has also recently started working with Trojanowski, because in October the website informed that the 20-year-old was in Legia for tests after he had terminated his contract with the third division Elana Toruń. Previously, Trojanowski played in Znicz Pruszków, of which he is a student, Ursus Warszawa, where in June 2018 he made his debut in the third league, MKS Piaseczno and Kotwica Kołobrzeg.
Legia Warsaw will fly to Dubai again
Legia, which ended the year in the league in 17th place in the table, has not yet officially announced the signing of a contract with Trojanowski. But the first team has just gone on holiday. He will return to training at the beginning of January. Two days after the end of the holidays, Aleksandar Vuković will take the team to a training camp in Dubai, where the Polish champion was also preparing for the spring round in the middle of last season. Legia’s winter preparations plan looks like this:

- January 6 – departure to Dubai *
- January 15 – sparring with Botev Plovdiv
- 19 January – Sparring with FK Krasnodar
- January 22 – return to Poland
- January 29 – sparring with Radomiak Radom
* Legia in Dubai is to play three friendly matches, but it is not known yet who will be their third rival.
