Guberniev spoke harshly to Vyalbe

The head of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), Elena Vyalbe, believes that the low level of athletes is to blame for the massive failure in the 10-kilometer race at the Winter Spartakiad of students in the Krasnodar Territory.

It’s okay, sir. What, this is your first time in sports? The thing is that these athletes are not even ready for such a track. The level of these athletes is very low

TV commentator Dmitry Guberniev did not agree with the head of the FLRG and called the people who decided to hold the race criminals. According to him, the race took place on a biathlon track in the opposite direction.

Those people who made the decision to hold the race – employees of the Ministry of Sports, flight director Belomestnov, Elena Vyalbe, you are just criminals, understand? I believe that you must answer to the law

Race participants consider Vyalbe’s words humiliating

One of the mass start participants also responded to Elena Vyalbe’s words. The words of the athlete, who wished to remain anonymous, are reported by the Championship.

“I don’t know whether to believe what Elena Valerievna Vyalbe said, that we are just inexperienced athletes and only received bruises. Yes, here I am now in the hospital – here the girls are moaning in pain, almost dying. She’s alive, thank God,” the girl said, noting that Vyalbe’s words are humiliating for athletes.

The skier also said that there was blood all over the track. “How can we talk about ordinary bruises in such a situation?” – she was indignant.
