The girlfriend of Spartak Moscow legionnaire Quincy Promes Tabatha Robinson published on the social network Snapchat a video with the player, filmed in one of the nightclubs in Dubai. RIA Novosti reports this.
The video was published on the night of Wednesday, March 6. It was previously reported that the trial of Promes in the UAE in the case of leaving the scene of an accident, scheduled for March 5, was postponed by a week.
On February 29, Promes was detained at border control at Dubai airport for being involved in an accident and leaving the scene. Later it was clarified that the football player would not be sentenced to prison in the UAE – he would be punished with a fine. In addition, he will not be extradited to the Netherlands. Thus, he will have the opportunity to return to Moscow.
On February 14, an Amsterdam court sentenced Promes in absentia to six years in prison for drug smuggling. In the summer of 2023, he received 18 months in prison in his homeland for attacking his brother with a knife.
