Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva discussed the possible start of an acting career. Her words are quoted by “Sport Day by Day.”
The athlete noted that she does not yet imagine herself in such a capacity. “If you do it, do it well. I won’t do it well right away, I’m not an actress. Emotionally on the ice, yes, but this is not a camera that captures the smallest facial details,” Medvedeva said.
The figure skater noted that she once starred in a feature film as herself. She also took part in the voice acting of the film “Ice 3”.
Medvedeva is a two-time world and European champion. At the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the figure skater won two silver medals – in the team competition and individual competition. The Russian woman has not competed in official competitions since the end of 2019.
