International Master of Sports in Athletics Valeria Andreeva recommended a set of exercises with fitness bands for a thin waist, which can be performed at home or in the gym. Her words are quoted by Around the World.
The expert recommended starting with a reverse strap with elastic at the ankles. To do this, you need to lie on your back with emphasis on your elbows and heels and, keeping your torso in one line, swing your legs upward.
The next exercise is sit-ups. You need to lie on your back, bend your knees, place your feet on the floor, and fasten the elastic band under your knees. When lifting the body, the knees should move apart; in the final phase of the movement, the feet should be touched. In the same position, the expert suggested performing alternate scapular lifts and lateral twists.
Andreeva also advised performing a side plank with a diagonal touch. To do this, you need to lie on your left side, with emphasis on your forearm and right leg, wrap an elastic band around your ankles. Then, keeping the body straight, touch the bent left leg with your right hand.
In addition, the specialist suggested performing a “bicycle” with an elastic band on the feet. The final exercise is “climber”. To begin, you need to stand in a plank position with straight arms, fasten the elastic band above your knees, and then alternately pull your bent legs towards you.
