Yuri has a muscle injury and is practically ruled out for the Cup

The player of Athletic Club Yuri Berchiche suffered in Sunday’s game, against Real Betis an injury “in the hamstring muscles” of his right leg that makes him practically ruled out for the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg Thursday in San Mamés against Atlético de Madrid.
The medical report issued this Monday by the Bilbao club, in addition to detailing the area in which the injury occurred that forced him to be substituted before the end of the first half, indicates that the left-handed back “is pending additional tests to define his availability”.
This would be a doubt for the cup clash, added to the also possible loss of Inigo Lekue and the most likely of Ander Herreraboth due to muscle injuries.
The availability of the defender and the midfielder will not be definitively confirmed until Wednesdayeither in the previous press conference that the coach will offer at 5:00 p.m. before the last training session or in the call after that session.
In the recovery session This Monday, Lekue has been working alone but doing exercises with the ball at a good pace.
