Russian midfielder “Le Havre” Daler Kuzyaev was disqualified for four matches. This is reported on the club’s website.
The midfielder was punished by the disciplinary committee of the French Football Federation (FFF) after receiving a straight red card in the 1/8 finals of the French Cup on February 7. In the 80th minute of the meeting with Strasbourg (1:3), Kuzyaev tripped his opponent.
Kuzyaev missed three matches of the French championship and will be able to return to the field on March 10. It is noted that Le Havre also intends to appeal the decision of the disciplinary committee.
