President of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko spoke about the possibility of holding a friendly match between the country’s national football team and Russia. Sport Express will report this.
He noted that he has a positive attitude towards this idea. “This is very important for us and for you. Game practice is very good,” Lukashenko said.
On February 15, First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation (ABFF) Association Andrei Vasilevich announced a friendly match with the Russian national team. According to him, the probability of a meeting is estimated at 90 percent.
Earlier it became known that the Russian national team will play two friendly matches in Moscow at the VTB Arena stadium in March. On March 21, Valery Karpin’s team will play against Serbia, and four days later they will meet with Paraguay.
