Miranchuk’s Atalanta will play against Sporting in the 1/8 finals of the Europa League
A draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland, following which all pairs of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League became known. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
At this stage, the Italian Atalanta, for which Russian midfielder Alexey Miranchuk plays, will meet with the Portuguese Sporting. Azerbaijani “Qarabagh”, whose goal is defended by Andrey Lunev, will play against the German “Bayer”.
The remaining pairs are as follows: Milan – Slavia, Freiburg – West Ham United, Benfica – Rangers, Roma – Brighton, Marseille – Villarreal, Sparta ” – “Liverpool”.
The first matches of the 1/8 finals will be held on March 7. The return games will take place in a week.
The current winner of the Europa League is Sevilla. This year the final will take place on May 22 in Dublin at the Aviva Stadium.
