Russian biathletes gave Spartakiad medals to Belarusians

The team of Latypov and Babikov gave the bronze medals of the Spartakiad to the Belarusians

The Bashkortostan biathlon team decided to give the Belarusian team bronze medals at the All-Russian Spartakiad. Commentator Dmitry Guberniev spoke about this on Match TV.

On February 18, Belarusians Pavel Belko, Ivan Tulatin, Dmitry Lazovsky and Anton Smolsky finished third in the relay race. However, due to the rules of the tournament, they were not given awards.

Bronze medals went to the fourth team of Bashkortostan, which was represented by Ilya Burlakov, Anton Babikov, Alexander Babchin and Eduard Latypov. After the award ceremony, the Russians handed over their medals to their rivals from Belarus.

The team from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug won the relay race. The team of the Sverdlovsk region became the second.

Biathlon competitions as part of the Spartakiad took place in Zlatoust (Chelyabinsk region).
