Booom. Former UFC champion demolished by Youtuber. A knockout of life [WIDEO]

Who is Jake Paul? He is a very famous Youtuber whose account on the site is subscribed by over 20 million users. He also starred in the series Bizaardvark, the American sitcom for Disney.

In August 2018, Paul had his first amateur boxing fight. The rival of the American, who won in the 5th round, was Briton Deji Olatunji. In January last year, Paul became more serious about boxing, but his fights were still classified as “freak” ones.

In the first professional match, the American defeated another Youtuber – AnEsonGib in the first round. In November, Paul only needed two rounds to deal with former NBA basketball player Nat Robinson.

In April this year, Paul shocked by defeating in the first round wrestler and former UFC mixed martial artist Ben Askren. In August, the American turned out to be better on points than Tyron Woodley, former UFC welterweight champion!

Paul smashed Woodley in rematch

On the night from Saturday to Sunday, Polish time, Paul was to face the most difficult task in his career as a boxer. The rival of the American was to be Tommy Fury (7-0), the unbeaten half-brother of the heavyweight champion – Tyson Fury, undefeated in professional rings.

The fight did not take place, however, because Fury withdrew from it due to a chest infection and a broken rib. – It’s embarrassing. They said, “Oh yeah, we’re gonna face Jake with a broken rib. We’re gonna fight Jake despite the chest infection. We’re gonna fight Jake with his hands tied behind his back.” And when the fight with me comes, they withdraw. It’s weak, Paul said at a press conference, admitting that he probably won’t take up the challenge from Fury anymore.

Instead of Fury, Paul had a rematch fight with Woodley. While the result of the first fight could be taken as a surprise, the rematch ended with a sensational, heavy knockout. Less than a minute before the end of Round 6, Paul fired a massive blow from his right hand, sending the former UFC champion to the ground.

Experts commenting on the fight noted the progress Paul is making from duel to duel. The American is no longer called only a “saucy Youtuber”, but also an increasingly better boxer who is not afraid of competitors with much more experience in martial arts.
