Jagiellonia shattered after the break. Raków returned to the podium of the league

The first half was played at a fair pace, but there were no 100% situations to score. It was hot under the goal of Jagiellonia in the first minutes, when the ball hit Bogdan Tiru’s hand in Jagiellonia’s penalty area. The players immediately demanded a penalty kick, but the referee Tomasz Musiał remained adamant. Interestingly, a similar situation took place in the extra time of the first part of the game. This time Matysik was handed the ball, but Tomasz Musiał again decided not to dictate a penalty kick after consulting the car. The first half ended in a goalless draw.

Demolition in the second half. Raków ridiculed Jagiellonia

The greater shock was what happened in the second installment of the duel. In the 53rd minute, Rakw took the lead. The hosts played the ball in a small space, Patryk Kun at the last moment withdrew the ball from the end line to Fabio Sturgeon, and he threw it into the net very closely. In the 65th minute it was already 2-0, thanks to Andrzej Niewulis who shot his head after Ili Lopez’s cross from a free kick.

she was in a very difficult situation then, but unfortunately it was just the beginning of the demolition that Raków gave to the guests in the second half. Raków’s quick attack ended with a precise passing of Wdowiak into the penalty area to Ili Lopez, and he added a goal to the assist. It was the 80th minute and 120 seconds later it was 4-0! Jagiellonia players behaved catastrophically when leading the ball from their own half. The reception of Raków initiated another action, the final of which was the goal of Wdowiak in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper.

As if that were not enough, in the 88th minute Raków beat his rivals once more. In Vara, Tomasz Musiał watched the situation in which Steinbors clashed with Wdowiak, but decided that Rakow was not entitled to it. It ended in a corner and a goal was scored. This time Lopez’s throw was used by Arsenić.

Raków won with Jagiellonia 5: 0 and will spend the winter in third place. Jagiellonia, in turn, will occupy the 11th place.
