The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) spoke about the condition of Russian figure skater Anna Shvetsova who hit the ice. RIA Novosti learned about this.

The incident occurred at the All-Russian competition in memory of Kirov on February 12. The FFKKR stated that the 15-year-old athlete was provided with timely assistance, since emergency doctors were at the competition. “The girl is fine,” the organization shared details.

After the fall, Shvetsova was unable to complete her free skate at the tournament in Kirov. The skater fell from a triple flip and hit her head on the ice. The athlete could not get up for some time, but eventually left the ice.

On January 24, during the All-Russian competition for the prizes of the President of the FFKKM, figure skater Maria Simonova hit her head on the ice at a tournament in Moscow. Simonova’s 17-year-old partner Martin Breslavsky was unable to hold her during support, causing the skater to fall and suffer a head injury.
