Olympic champion Vic Wild had items stolen from his garage from the 2014 Games in Sochi
Champion of the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi in parallel giant slalom, Vic Wild, said that his garage was robbed. His words are quoted by “Championship”.
“All my things from Sochi were stolen. Clothes, toys, books, everything was stolen except the medals,” Wild said. He added that he did not know the names of the criminals, but presumably they were people who worked near the garage.

In October 2022, Wild explained the decision to remain in Russia. The snowboarder said that the country needs him. He added that for him, leaving is an attempt to escape from problems, and not a way to solve them.
Wild was born in the USA and received a Russian passport in 2012. As part of the Russian national team, the snowboarder won two gold medals at the Olympics in Sochi. He also won bronze at the 2022 Games in Beijing.
