Gorka Guruzeta suffered a muscle injury in the match Copa del Rey this Wednesday against Atlético de Madrid at the Civitas Metropolitno and is a doubt for the next matches of the Athletic Clubthe first this Monday before the Almeria (at 9:00 p.m.).
As reported by Athletic, Guruzeta “had to be substituted during the second half of the match” yesterday, “due to an injury to the hamstring muscles of his left leg.”
The San Sebastian striker thus joins Nico Williams on the red-and-white team’s casualty list, since the winger was not included in the final call-up for the Metropolitano clash. Nico was injured in the previous match, against Mallorca in San Mamésand suffers an adductor injury.
The red and white squad will rest tomorrow, Friday, and will train on Saturday and Sunday to prepare for Monday’s visit to the Almeria.
