Footballer Bakaev said that he suffered at Zenit due to unsuccessful training
Zenit midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev, who plays on loan for Al-Wahdeh from the UAE, spoke in an interview with the Nobel YouTube channel about the difficulties of working in the St. Petersburg club.
“I did everything in my power, worked as hard as I could. For the first six months, nothing worked for me. I couldn’t do anything in training either, I was suffering,” shared the 27-year-old football player. He noted that he had a crazy adaptation, and due to unsuccessful training, he did not have the necessary level of trust.
Bakaev played for Zenit from July 2022 to September 2023. In total, he played in 34 matches with the team in all tournaments, in which he scored three goals and three assists.
Previously, Bakaev also played for Spartak and Arsenal Tula. He played 13 matches for the Russian national team, scoring one goal and one assist.
