Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Alexander Emelianenko announced his desire to enter Moscow State University (MSU). He spoke out on the “On Sports with Monto” YouTube channel.
According to the Russian, he wants to study in the sports department. “Why Moscow State University? I live in Moscow, Moscow State University is the most prestigious university. The most prestigious institute should teach a couple of lessons to one of the most status athletes,” Emelianenko said.
In January, the President of the International Boxing Association (IBA), Umar Kremlev, made a bet with Emelianenko. The functionary promised to give the fighter an apartment if he managed without alcohol and in sports mode for a year.
42-year-old Emelianenko has 40 MMA fights, in which he won 29 victories and suffered 10 defeats. Another fight with his participation ended in a draw.
