Mostovoy agreed to consider himself one of the greatest players in Russian history
Former Russian national team player Alexander Mostovoy appreciated the objectivity of his ranking among the greatest players in Russian history. The ex-midfielder spoke about his own greatness to the Sport24 portal.
“I agree with the assessment of me as one of the greatest football players in our country. Although no one likes the truth, it must be recognized,” Mostovoy said.
Last summer, an ex-football player who played for Benfica Lisbon complained about the shortage of beautiful girls in Portugal. “It wasn’t easy to find a girl—at that time, sometimes you could even stare at a man,” the Russian noted.
Mostovoy retired from acting in 2005. He has ten goals in 50 matches for the Russian national team. Since 1991, the midfielder has played in the European championships for Benfica, Caen, Strasbourg, Celta and Alaves.
