UEFA and Adidas presented this Monday the official ball of the knockout phase and the final of the Women’s Champions Leaguewhich will resume on March 19 and will meet its champion on Saturday, May 25 at the San Mamés stadium in Bilbao.

The ‘UWCL Pro Ball Bilbao’ ball features the innovative ‘PRISMA’ surface texture, which offers players greater precision, and has an outer coating that provides a secure grip and total control, in addition to presenting a seamless construction, with thermal bonding that allows maximum performance.

UEFA indicated that the ball reflects the “disruptive urban geometries” of Bilbao and the traditional star pattern incorporates the iconic shapes of the city’s architecture and the design of the San Mamés stadium.

The women’s “Champions” will know this Tuesday their pairings for the quarterfinals and semifinals, in the draw that UEFA will hold at its headquarters in Nyon (Switzerland), at 1:00 p.m.

Semifinal dates

The quarterfinals will be played on March 19/20 for the return trip and March 27/28 for the return trip.. The first leg of the semifinals is scheduled for April 20/21 and the second leg for April 27/28.

The San Mamés stadium already hosted the final phase of the Champions League of the 2019-2020 season during the pandemic, in which it hosted two quarterfinal matches and one semifinal. The rest of the matches, including the final, were held in San Sebastián.
