Real Sociedad beat Eibar 0-2 in the Basque derby on matchday 16 of League F which was played on Sunday, February 4 in Ipurua. Franssi was the author of the two goals of the meeting.

So, the txuri-urdin team is seventh in the standings with 25 points, while The gunsmith team occupies 14th place with 13 points and is three points above relegation.

La Real soon took the lead on the scoreboard; in the 9th minute, Franssi scored 0-1 after cutting inside the area and beating goalkeeper Miralles with a good touch.

After conceding the goal, Eibar reacted. The Gunsmiths had a clear scoring chance to tie in the 17th minute, but Camino’s shot narrowly missed. At the restart, Eibar went on the attack and warned with a shot from Camino that went high. The Armaeras tried in every possible way and put Real back. However, the Txuri-Urdin team knew how to suffer, they defended well, and in the 67th minute they extended their lead; Franssi scored again (0-2) after completing a quick counterattack.

Eibar fought until the end, they did not give up, but their effort was not rewarded. In the end, victory for Real Sociedad (0-2).
