Spectators booed last-place finisher Nikita Kucherov at the NHL All-Star Game

Spectators booed Russian Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov at the National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star Game. Sport24 reports this.

According to the results of the skill competition, the hockey player took last place and was unable to advance to the next stage. The fans did not like that the Russian did not try to win the competition. In the passing competition, he missed the targets several times, and in the puck possession competition, he slowly circled the targets.

On February 2, Kucherov became the first pick of the NHL All-Star Game draft. He was selected first by the Hughes brothers.

Kucherov is the top scorer of the 2023/2024 NHL season. He currently has 83 points (32 goals and 51 assists) in 48 games. The hockey player has been playing in Tampa since 2013 and, together with the team, became a two-time Stanley Cup winner.
