Former Lokomotiv football coach Marko Nikolic confessed his love for Russia. His words are quoted by Sport24.
“I love Russia and Russian football. It was cool – three teams in the Champions League, a strong championship. I still have friends in Russia,” shared the Serbian specialist. Nikolic also said that his best memories were from the derby with CSKA, where Lokomotiv won six games in six matches.
Nikolic headed the Moscow club from May 2020 to October 2021. Under his leadership, the railway workers won the Russian Cup and became bronze medalists of the national championship in the 2020/2021 season.
Earlier, Brazilian defender of Lokomotiv Lucas Fassone named the disadvantages of life in Russia. The footballer said that he doesn’t like traffic jams and the cold in winter.
