Lokomotiv defender Tiknizyan spoke about his anger over the failure of the transfer to Zenit

Lokomotiv defender Nair Tiknizyan spoke about the failed transfer to Zenit. His words are quoted on the website of the Moscow club.

The footballer said that this situation did not affect him. “There is a little anger at how everything was blown out of proportion without knowing the details and nuances. But, again, this does not concern me. I go out on the field and do my job. This is the most important thing for me,” he emphasized.

On January 25, it was reported that the defender’s transfer to Zenit fell through due to the player’s financial demands. During the negotiations, Tiknizyan requested a salary of about two million euros, but the teams could not agree on the amount of the football player’s contract.

The desire of St. Petersburg residents to buy a player from the Armenian national team was reported on January 23. It was then expected that the transfer would cost the club eight million euros excluding bonuses.

This season, 24-year-old Tiknizyan played 23 matches for Lokomotiv in all competitions, scored eight goals and made five assists.
