Karyaka: little time has passed for Zakharyan to think about returning to the RPL
Former Russian national team player Andrei Karyaka appreciated the meaning of the return of Real Sociedad midfielder Arsen Zakharyan to the Russian Premier League (RPL). His words are quoted by Metaratings.
According to the ex-player, little time has passed now to think about leaving. “This is football, everything happens, and injuries are an integral part. Will come back even stronger. Moreover, the coach trusted him recently, Arsen played quite a lot,” said Karyaka.
On January 27, Zakharyan was injured during the match of the 22nd round of the Spanish Championship against Rayo Vallecano. The 20-year-old injured his ankle in the first half and was unable to continue the game.
Zakharyan moved to Real Sociedad on August 19 last year. The contract with the 20-year-old midfielder is for five years, until the end of the 2028/2029 season.
