The New Zealander Laurence Pithie (Groupama FDJ) won to the sprint in the eighth edition of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, World Tour one-day race disputed in the Australian city of Geelong-

Pithie beat the Eritrean by just half a wheel Natnael Tesfazion (Lidl-Trek) at the finish line after 176.5 kilometers, which he covered in 4.17:40 hoursthe same time that the others marked twelve runners of the group that formed during the last lap of the final urban circuit of the race, after passing through the Challambra hill.
