Footballer Ronaldo said that at the age of 39 he surpassed young players in goals scored

“I was the top scorer this season, imagine I beat the young beasts. I’m proud of it. And soon I will turn 39 years old! I like it when people doubt me again, and then I achieve success,” said the footballer. He emphasized that the criticism does not hurt him, because he beat the young players in goals scored.
In 2023, Ronaldo scored a total of 54 goals, ten of them for the national team.
Ronaldo is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner. He has five Champions League victories to his name, as well as league titles in England, Spain and Italy.
