Russian Panarin scored 60 points in 43 NHL games and set a Rangers record
Russian forward Artemy Panarin set a record for the New York Rangers National Hockey League (NHL) club. This was reported on the team’s website.
In the regular season match against the Seattle Kraken (5:2), the forward gave an assist and scored his 60th point of the season. He reached this mark in 43 games.
Thus, Panarin became the first player in Rangers history to have at least two seasons with 60 points in 43 games or less since the start of the regular season.
Panarin ranks fifth in the list of top scorers in the current championship. The Russian forward has 27 goals scored and 33 assists.
Previously, NHL Network included Panarin in the top 50 best active NHL players. The striker, who has been with Rangers since 2019, is 32nd on the list. His current contract with the team runs until 2026.
