Coach Eteri Tutberidze will host the reality show “Big Girls” about weight loss
Honored figure skating coach of Russia Eteri Tutberidze will make her debut as a presenter in the reality show “Big Girls” on the Friday TV channel. TASS reports this with reference to the channel’s press service.
As part of the project, 13 participants weighing over 100 kilograms will try to change their lives by losing weight. Together with Tutberidze, the girls’ mentors will be the coach of the Russian women’s rugby team Kirill Kosharin, nutritionist and nutritionist Dr. Regina and psychologist Anetta Orlova.
Tutberidze gained fame thanks to her work with singles skaters. Among her students are Olympic champions Yulia Lipnitskaya, Alina Zagitova and Anna Shcherbakova, as well as silver medalists of the Games Evgenia Medvedeva and Alexandra Trusova. In addition, the coach works with Kamila Valieva.
Earlier, figure skater Vladimir Samoilov said that after intensive training in Tutberidze’s group, he developed health problems – back pain. “When I came to her, I already had protrusions. To which they told me: “This happens to all athletes, this is the minimum that can happen.” She knew right away, I told her. But in the end everything manifested itself in two types of hernia,” he said.
